Well, this is the third day I've actually worked on her, not necessarily day 3.
I've worked on her twice so far.
Day #3/4: Removed the intake manifold. Thanks to dmctalk.com's Howto section, this wasn't too bad.
The good: It wasn't terrible in there
The bad: There was a coolant spill in the valley of death
The good (part 2): It appears recent, and the block does not look rotted!
The bad (part 2): I probably need new everything rubber...fuel lines, vacuum hoses, coolant lines, a new coolant return pipe (the existing one is rusted), copper rings....
I also finished siphoning the gas tank.
I'm going to pullapart Saturday to pull a 3.0L PRV V6 from an Eagle Premier. It's my backup plan in case this motor is beyond repair.
